I wish I was more of a chartist, but I do remember Bill Murphy and his gang of Midas followers banging the table that the “blips” you’re referring to, were actual “smoke signals” that a concerted push down was coming.
I was an equity market-maker at the CBOE, and I strictly used charts to look at short term resistance and support, to manage my risk…..
