They left out the “grease job” news we got back in the 70s telling us we are going to be a service economy, and telling us we don’t want the “rust belt” industries, and we don’t like or need all the menial “smoke stack” jobs.
They also told us competition was good, we would get cheaper high quality products, but forgot about the LOSS of tax PAYING jobs replaced with tax ABSORBING jobs.
