Loading ...The forecasted storm track wandered some 80 miles to the east, sparing NJ and much of Conn. Eastern LI recorded 50 mph winds and parts of Mass. some 80 mph winds. With those kind of winds combined with multi feet of snow we have a Blizzard…a complete whiteout. Chains and tire studs are of little help if you can’t see the roadway. Drifts can easily go 20 or 30 feet high. So, we lucked out on what could have been a monster blizzard. Be thankful.
PS, Was there ever a generation that didn’t say that they had it harder?
