I found serenity and peace this morning by observing this spring’s leader growth on my planted Sitka spruce.  Maybe not as spectacular as the leader growth you could achieve  on your spruce provenances in the  Skeena/Telkwa drainages, but respectable spring growth nonetheless.  June 2015 Sitka
