Loading ...Takes about 4 years for banks to glean ownership here in NY. “Zombie Houses” they are called, and citizens are complaining like crazy to make banks responsible for clean up and maintaining empty homes. They say…”We don’t own them, yet”.
P.S. I know of people with paid off houses that stopped paying their property taxes. Average here run $10k to $20 k and up. Commercial property taxes are nuts.
TPTB are in panic mode but nobody sees it.
