The US is a Paradox

It has Special Drawing Rights and is a RESERVE Currency  ,but has become a Cheap Labor Country with millions unemployed !   and continues to import cheap labor .How long can the DOLLAR sustain a high value  if  it doesnt export !  It imports too much ! What gives it its value ? Does it hold a lot of GOLD ?       Maybe its the Military and the fact that we dont throw BOMBS at each other    !    Maybe its the SHORT SELLERS  that can “SHORT SELL” any other country that challenges us… and drive them down…..That must be it ..”the short sellers” is Americas  ACE in the HOLE” …
