Loading ...The vast majority of silver is produced as a by product of copper and zinc mining. Copper mining will cease if copper goes much lower. I believe the gold silver ratio was distorted by the Chinese demand for copper which has collapsed. When the excess silver available now is gone, the ratio will return.
