First it was good you helped your daughter esp in a time where woman’s education did not seem important than men’s. In fact it was more important during a time when good wage jobs were male dominated. There was no heathcare andno heathcare for anyone injured on the job either. I almost got blinded by one job as a teen because of a foremans lack of attentiveness about another worker multi people complained about having to do her job and Theres when no need and be just moved other people around her then put me there in harms way. Then lack of action when I was injured. That could of resulted in complete and permanent blindness if I didn’t already have some nursing experience to know what to do about it. The only one that did anything about it was a woman supervisor above him when a friend brought it up to her. I think if she would of been a man instead nothing would have changed. I remember hearing a story about a young woman who got a job at phone company operator. Remember those jobs? She got the flu and gossip started by the local back stabbers. They started a rumor she was pregnant. The supervisors including woman being their own worst enemies snobs fired her saying that she was a bad influence on the other women. Today there is protection from this sort of discrimination and plain bulling. Regulations have their purpose but also have to be realistic.
Obama care puts the burden on both families and job creators. It just makes what you mentioned and all aware of worse. They will never change and the only way to stop it is to put it back into their hands at this point. Let them pay for it. Then you can bet things will change and fast.
