And upon a microsecond of serious thought, I gotta agree with you that hooking up with RNO might be a little risky to my health. I’ll stick with hurricanes and volcanoes. And the news just keeps getting bigger as those hurricanes strengthened today to Cat3 and Cat4, respectively. Some weakening expected before Madeline passes south of the big island at tropical storm strength. All the moisture hangs around to the northeast of the cyclone center, and it is all that rain baggage that gets scraped off when it hits TWO 14,000ft. volcanic mountains. Expect epic rainfalls… the kind that carve waterfalls into hard volcanic rock on that windward side of the island. Now where did I leave my scuba gear..?
